Pros: great location - 5 mins from the tube; the neighborhood is nice and fun The staff is amazingly friendly and willing to bend over backwards to help you You can get water, coffee, tea whenever you need Okay The rooms are okay. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is okay The cons: If you're a pampered American (like me) you will miss air conditioning if you're visiting in the summer. The rooms are very crammed together. Our neighbors were VERY loud and I had to scold them several times. However - this is a budget friendly option that's a 5 minute walk to the tube. We did manage to fit a family of 5 into one room (that had an upper level). So it's doable if you're budget conscious.
We were pleased with our stay at St. Simeon and would definitely stay there again. It is in a nice area. Close to the underground. Close to Hyde Park. Quiet. Lovely old building. The room was small, but had everything we needed. All of the staff were great. The breakfast was excellent. Like eating at Grandma's where she wants to make sure that you have had enough to eat. A wonderful British experience.

The room was clean and functional, if a bit snug. The service was wonderful- friendly staff at reception and the kitchen. Delightful breakfast (included!). Quiet neighborhood with restaurants and groceries within a 5-minute walk. Tube station also a 5-minute walk. All-in-all, I would stay here again!

I loved the neighborhood and how conveniently located everything was. I could walk to the underground, Stop 33 for the Big Bus Tours, grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment. The neighborhood itself felt like a peaceful retreat, with quiet streets just a few hundred meters from all the action. The hotel was a real gem for us. I especially enjoyed the communal kitchen and dining area in the evenings, as well as the breakfast, which was always well-stocked and plentiful. We met so many wonderful people during our stay—connections we plan to keep for future travels.
We love this place, this is our second time here. We love it the most for its friendly and helpful staff and a homey, cozy feeling. Our room both times was basic (exactly as shown on the photos), but impeccably clean and spacious. Breakfast is included in the price and its delicous and abundant. Location is great, a few minutes walk from the tube, and also close to several museums. Higly recommend this place!
We had a fantastic time at St Simeon Hotel. It was exactly as described. Beautiful view of streets in Kensington, quiet room and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helped with any question, and the breakfast was tasty too. Very good value, would stay again! Thank you!
